Hands-on Kits

This page covers many hands-on kits that I personally loved, and learned a lot from. Follow the instructions to create something, or let your creativity take over to make something spectacular.

Beginner Electrical/Circuit Kits

These kits are for beginners that want to get into concepts with electronics and circuits.

Snap Circuits

Snap Circuit is a circuit focused kit that comes with many "blocks" that act as a component. Connect each block with the wires that Snap on via a magnet.

OSOYOO robot car kits

OSOYOO, a brand that cells many electrical parts, also sells step-by-step robot building kits. These robots come with commonly used components such as an ultrasonic sensor.

CrunchLabs

Run by the famous STEM youtuber Mark Rober, CrunchLabs has monthly and bimonthly engineering packs for both kids and teens.

LEGO SPIKE prime

A series of LEGO that has a focus on STEM. Allows you to build your own robots/machines, and program each component using scratch. LEGO MINDSTORMS is also great, however it was discontinued.

Advanced Electrical/Circuit Kits

These kits utilizes devices real industry-level inventions use. Thus, the creation of them may be difficult and challenging, but what you could make with it is endless.

Arduino Kits

These kits are a great place to start off when you are interested in coming up with your own projects. Once you are done with a project, you are able to reuse those parts for different projects.

Kits made by the open-source hardware company Adafruit. They also sell specific components you may need for projects.
